About the event
Hello LIve Music Fans,
We had a wonderful three days of music for the 30th Canadian Big Band Celebration and great weather for the people out and about for the Friday Night Blues and Jazz Passport in Port Elgin. The Friday Night Jazz Club in Southampton was sold out and had some lively R&B and Jump Swing music performed by the Jump Jive Gents which included two guest vocalists Susan Dietrich and Greg Nicholson who performed a few jazz standards including a duet to Jerome Kern's "The Way You Look Tonight". Next was the performance by Super Blue which includes the Donnybrook Trio, Steve McDade and Vern Dorge performing the music of Freddie Hubbard, virtuosic jazz solos for sure! The night ended with a Classic Jazz Jam which was a fun time for all.
Our next featured guests are back by popular demand, the Tonewheels are a Hammond Organ Trio out…
